In celebration of the coming Lunar New Year in South Korea, we hosted a part 2 version of our cultural showacase of South Korea. Our event this time was held at the San Jose Library, another local library around our area. Because of the huge turnout last event, we had full confidence that this would be just as successful, if not even better. Thankfully, our expectations were met. Within mintues, children and families came swarming in, excited about this event. Constant laughs and smiles arose despite the smaller room with Kpop playing in the background. Despite the cramped space, everyone enjoyed theirselves and the fun activies led by our hardworking volunteers. We offered booth stations of folding ddakji and bok jumeoni, two popular visits by children. In the middle of the room, we laid out ggongi and jaegichagi for people to try and play as well. Our informational tri-fold boards were also standing against the wall, catching your attention as you walked into the room. All in all, thank you to everyone who came to our event and for bringing us much joy in our work. Thank you also to the San Jose Library for being such a great host. Catch you next time!
